To the ACC Membership,
Energy. Momentum. Growth. Those are some of the words that epitomize the success of 2021 at the Albion Country Club. I would like to personally thank each and every one of you for your patience and continued support of the Club through the twists and turns last season.
I would also like to thank outgoing Board Members Chris Borer and Julie Mahoney who gave countless hours of their time, effort, and service to the betterment of ACC, in what was a wild past couple years for the board.
With that, please help me welcome our new Board members for the next three years, Claire Kayton and Brian Liss, who have already hit the ground running with us.
Energy– It would be an understatement to say that the work of Bryan and Teresa Hughett, who will be back again this year, plays a huge role in creating positive energy and a dynamic golf environment for our Club. In 2021 we had a record number of rounds played on our course, we continued to have the best golf leagues for a 9 hole course in the State, and our tournaments including the Member-Guest are as top notch as they come.
Momentum- 2021 also brought us the leadership of Manager Scott Thornton. His culinary skill and service, with a huge assist from Megan, have created a wave of momentum going into 2022 that helped give a new vibe in both the restaurant and lounge at ACC. As we continue to advance the atmosphere at the Club, we are definitely looking forward to the future with Scott and Megan.
Growth- Last season also provided us with the caring craftsmanship of Aaron Allgood. With positive change comes growth and as you can see there have been several changes made to enhance play on the course. Through hard work and dedication our crew has made growth a priority and we are excited to see what comes next to continue to make ACC one of the best places to play golf.
What a great time to be a member at the Albion Country Club.
See you at the Club,
Jon Perone
ACC Board President
